Hormones - Cause Of Yeast Infection
A change in your hormone levels can trigger a yeast infection in your body. These could be natural or artificial and they can be induced by:
1.Intake of contraceptive pills is a major factor that causes such changes each month.
2.Change in hormones in the pregnancy period.
3.Steroids used to treat arthritis, asthma or lupus could also cause a fluctuation in the hormone levels.
4.Onset of periods normally does away with the yeast infection for some time since yeast does not seem to like the pH levels of menstrual blood. However, it rebounds as soon as the period gets over.
